Susan usually works at the practice every Thursday and runs the Mental Health Screening clinic.

Reception

The reception team comprises Andrea, Pav, Chris, Vinette, Cath and Sue (reception manager). Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They provide basic information on services and results, direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists arrange most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses, issue repeat prescriptions and deal with prescription enquiries.

Community Midwives

GLENDA GEORGE

Glenda is at the Surgery on Tuesday afternoons. She undertakes most of the routine checks during Pregnancy including ultrasound scans and blood tests. Glenda is based at Harborne Medical practice in Harborne and can be contacted on 0121 427 2511 or 0121 627 2660.

Health Visitors

A Health Visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. Patients can see the Health Visitor at Harborne Medical Practice on Wednesdays between 1.30 and 3.00pm.
