Appointments are for 10 minutes and a maximum of 2 medical problems.
When the Surgery is Closed
Outside of surgery hours call the usual practice number (687 3055) and a recorded message explains how to contact the emergency doctor. If you are ringing from a hall of residence please use a phone that takes in-coming calls and ensure that the doctor can gain entry to the hall, if a visit is necessary.
Badger Medical runs our local out-of-hours medical service and they are based at the Accident & Emergency unit at Selly Oak Hospital which is off Raddlebarn Road close to its junction with Oak Tree Lane - about 5 minutes walk from the Bristol Road at Sainsbury's in Selly Oak. You cannot drop-in to the centre without having contacted them by phone first.
